The entire K2 team gathered recently for our annual staff conference – a day focused on learning, collaboration, and getting ready for what's next in the HVAC industry.
It's not often we get everyone under one roof, but when we do, it's worth it. Yesterday's conference brought together engineers, apprentices, estimators, and our support team for a full day of training, knowledge-sharing, and looking ahead to the opportunities coming our way.
Industry expertise from our partners
We were fortunate to have Andrew Wilson from Daikin and Andrew Harris from Mitsubishi Electric join us for the day. Both delivered excellent presentations and hands-on training sessions that gave our team real insight into the latest product innovations and where the HVAC industry is heading.

These aren't just any partnerships – Daikin and Mitsubishi Electric are leaders in the field, and having direct access to their expertise means our team stays at the cutting edge of what's possible in heating, cooling, and ventilation technology.
Why we do this
At K2, we've always believed in investing in our people. Our 'promote from within' policy and apprenticeship scheme aren't just nice ideas – they're how we've built a team that knows their stuff and delivers for our customers every single time.
Days like yesterday reinforce why that approach works. When the whole team comes together to learn, share experiences, and celebrate what we've achieved, it reminds us all why we do what we do.
Looking forward
The energy and commitment from everyone at K2 was brilliant to see. From our newest apprentices to our most experienced engineers, everyone engaged, asked questions, and left with new knowledge they can apply to their work.
It's this kind of investment in our team that means when you work with K2, you're getting people who are trained on the latest systems, understand the technology inside and out, and are committed to delivering the best possible service.
Here's to another year of growth, innovation, and doing great work for our customers across the North West and beyond.
